Needle and Thread Thursday!

Don't you love Thursdays?  It's the day where I can just start to feel the weekend coming on, which is always a good thing.  And of course, I love Needle and Thread Thursday because I get to see the awesome projects y'all are working on too!

Remember that broken tooth I had right at the start of the school year?  Well, after getting it fixed, I have continued to have pain (albeit dull and nagging, rather than sharp- but still).  I finally decided that enough is enough and went back to the dentist, which did not turn out to be very much fun.

I did however, use the rest of my day off to finish up this chevron quilt top.  Incidentally, sewing did wonders for taking my mind off of my aching jaw.  I still have to add a white border to this top, which will make those muted colors pop right out, and keep the warmer color palette looking fresh.

Be on the lookout for a chevron quilt tutorial, since I actually managed to remember to take pictures of this one along the way!  Since it's a tutorial, I wanted to make the post separate from NTT.

Take a look at some of the fantastic links from last week.  It's so tough to choose just three of the sixty (YES, 60!!) links from last week, but here goes-

**As a courtesy to these bloggers, if you want to pin the images I'm featuring, please use the links and pin from the original source.  Thanks a bunch!

Liz at Shush, I'm Quilting shared progress on her Oh, Deer! quilt.  Love the Disappearing Four Patch!  Check out Liz's post to see the awesome backing fabric she has in store for this one.

Janine at Rainbow Hare Quilts shared her Unicorn Days quilt.  The colors in this quilt are so intense, it's almost surreal.  The other photos in her post are gorgeous as well!

Melissa at My Fabric Relish showed off her Giant Star Surround.  Those bright colors with the gray really pop, and the spiral quilting is perfect!

Y'all just knock my socks off every single week!  I can't wait to see what you're working on right now.

Here are the party rules.  You know the drill!

1.  You can link finished projects or WIP's , but just keep it about quilting and sewing!
2. Link to your specific post to make it easier for others.
3. Spread the word and post my button or a text link.  Please find my new button on my sidebar!
4. Spread the comment love far and wide!
5. Following me is not a requirement to link, but is so very appreciated!

**And once again, as a courtesy to these bloggers, if you want to pin one of the fabulous projects linked, please click on the thumbnail to go to the original source and pin from there!  Thanks!
