NTT- Purples in Progress

Welcome back to Needle and Thread Thursday, y'all!  My vacation last week was really wonderful, even if I did bring home an unwelcome souvenir.  I started feeling unwell just as our trip was coming to a close, and unfortunately it has persisted.  A test confirmed that it's not Covid, but since I'm going on a full week of fever and other cold symptoms, it's still a pretty big bummer.

Even still, between naps I have gotten in a few minutes of sewing here and there, and my purples are really coming together.  I don't even have them pressed yet, but I love how they look so far, and I can't wait to see the full rainbow laid out on my wall.

Our last party was two weeks ago, but it was filled with plenty of amazing projects.  Take a look at this beauty by Nancy at Grace and Peace Quilting-

Sally at Crafts, Cavies, and Cooking linked up this sweet quilt finish-

And Anorina at Samelia's Mum shared this gorgeous quilt.  Just lovely!

Okay, y'all!  It's time to link up the latest projects from your studio.  And while you're at it, I'd love some good vibes so I can get back to feeling 100%.

1You can link finished projects or WIP's , but just keep it about quilting and sewing!
2. Link to your specific post (not to your home page!) to make it easier for others.
3. Please remember to spread the word and post my button or a text link within your
    post.
4. Spread the comment love far and wide!
5. Following me is not a requirement to link, but is so very appreciated!

*If you're new to the party, here's a helpful tip for linking up- select "Auto Crop"  when selecting your thumbnail photo.  For some reason, trying to crop your own image results in the dreaded "white question mark box," and we definitely want to see your awesome work!  :)

NTT- No Purples Yet

Hey there, y'all!  Welcome to Needle and Thread Thursday.  I have made zero sewing progress on my scrap project this week.  Between birthday activities that spilled over into the weekend and vacation prep, my dance card has been full.  NTT will be taking a break next week while I'm gone, and I'll tackle those purple scraps when I get back!

At last week's party, there were lots of great quilts linked up.  These two are by Quilting Gail-

Julie's Quilts and Costumes shared this sweet baby quilt-

And this stunning finish is by Yvonne at Quilting Jetgirl-

You know I'm going to be browsing through your links while I'm on vacation, and I can't wait to see them.  So, let's get this party started!

NTT- Another Week, Another Color On the Wall

Happy Needle and Thread Thursday, y'all!  It's birthday week around here, so there have been lots of fun things going on.  I turned 45 yesterday, and today is our son's 18th birthday!  It really is shocking how quickly the years go by.  It was a low-key day with plenty of time spent with my very favorite people, and I couldn't have asked for anything more.

I've also made some progress with my scrap project this week.  I finished out my aquas/teals, and as I suspected, it is by far my most plentiful color.  Then I moved onto the true blues.  I didn't have a ton of those, so I knocked them out pretty quickly.  Purples are next on the agenda, once all of the birthday activities are all finished of course!

As usual, last week's party was filled with goodness, like this fun quilt from Julie's Quilts and Costumes-

I love this quilt, shared by Rebecca Grace Quilting-

And finally, check out this pretty table runner by Sunshine in the Attic-

Okay, friends!  Let's link up!

Lots of Aqua/Teal and NTT

As I suspected, my aqua/teal jar was very full, and even though I've already sewn three full panels, I think I still have another couple of panels worth of scraps left.  I just love the rainbow taking shape on my wall, but I'm still not entirely sure what I'm going to do with these, especially since  I underestimated the number of scraps I had.  I'm just going to keep sewing them up and figure it out later.

I'm feeling like I'm in the home stretch now.  Once I finish the aqua/teals, I just have blues and purples left!

I'm ready to get our party on, but before we do, let's take a look at some of the gorgeous things linked up last week.  This rainbow beauty is by Rita at Quiltpiecer-

This stunner is by Sandra at mmm quilts-

And finally, Turid at Den syende himmel shared this beautiful, scrappy quilt.  And that photo is just breathtaking!

I hope you're getting lots of fun sewing time.  I can't wait to see what you've been working on lately!
