NTT- The Road to Normalcy

Happy Needle and Thread Thursday, friends!  Well, the boot's still on, so no change there, but I did get my second vaccine dose on Monday, so I'm feeling great about taking that step toward getting life back to normal.  My son is almost 17, so he got his first dose this week as well.  Hubby works for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, so he's been vaccinated since January.  We're alllllmost there.  Hooray for science!

Since I don't have anything new to share (again, the boot), take a look at some of my favorites from last week's party.  Janis at Canyon Rim Quilting shared this sweet string quilt-

This stunning quilt is by Frederique at Quilting Patchwork Applique

I love the crazy scrappiness of this quilt by Tubakk at Den syende himmel-

Take a look at this cute star quilt by Cheree at The Morning Latte-

This vibrant beauty is by Michelle at My Bijou Life-

And this soothing piece by Jayne at Twiggy and Opal makes me long for the beach!

Wow!  Y'all really brought the eye candy last week.  So, without further ado, let's get our party on!

1You can link finished projects or WIP's , but just keep it about quilting and sewing!
2. Link to your specific post (not to your home page!) to make it easier for others.
3. Please remember to spread the word and post my button or a text link within your
    post.
4. Spread the comment love far and wide!
5. Following me is not a requirement to link, but is so very appreciated!

*If you're new to the party, here's a helpful tip for linking up- select "Auto Crop"  when selecting your thumbnail photo.  For some reason, trying to crop your own image results in the dreaded "white question mark box," and we definitely want to see your awesome work!  :)

  1. Yay for getting your second vaccine! My husband I get ours in about 2 weeks. Thanks so much for featuring Spin Cycle in amongst those other beautiful quilts!

  2. "And the boot goes on, just like our love everla-a-sting..." ;-). I'm sorry; everything in my brain is connected to song lyrics. I hope you are at least getting some online fabric shopping done while you're in that boot, so you can hit the road running when you're all healed up again! Happy Easter, Kelly!

  4. Doesn't it feel great to get those shots done? Took my daughter for her first one today. My son doesn't qualify yet. :'(

  5. Boo for the lingering boot and YEA for the first shot. You picked some great quilts to share this week. Hopefully you can soon be doing things standing up like cutting up fabric. Maybe it is time to make a few quilt kits once you can stand for longer periods of time. Or maybe you can snuggle with a good book for a change. Happy Easter.

  6. I'm happy to hear you received your second COVID vaccination, and hope you didn't get as sick from it as I did. I'm three weeks out from having my second dose, but still fearful about being among people without wearing a mask. We've had mask-wearing drummed into us for so long, it's scary to think of going without it. I'm also sorry about your boot limiting your activities, and hope you return to normal soon.
