Happy NTT, Friends!

Hey there, y'all!  My latest teaching trip was SO much fun.  Even still, I don't know why, but it always takes me a few days to recover when I travel.  On the way home, I got an unexpected visit with my family too!  My flight was delayed, so I missed the second leg of my trip and ended up in Houston overnight.  As it so happens, my sister and her family live in the Houston area, as well as my aunt, uncle, and some of my cousins.  As luck would have it, my parents happened to be there visiting them for the weekend, and a negative turned into a big positive.  I was only there for about seventeen hours but I saw everyone, and it was a great time!

Okay friends!  let's go ahead and get to the highlights from last week!

Just look at all of that texture on this quilt by Rebecca Grace Quilting-

This fun quilt is from Gretchen's Little Corner-

LeeAnna from Not Afraid of Color shared this little improv beauty-

And finally, I love this patriotic quilt from Time 4 stitchn-

Okay, friends!  It's time to get our party going!  Let's do it!

1You can link finished projects or WIP's , but just keep it about quilting and sewing!
2. Link to your specific post (not to your home page!) to make it easier for others.
3. Please remember to spread the word and post my button or a text link within your
    post.
4. Spread the comment love far and wide!
5. Following me is not a requirement to link, but is so very appreciated!

*If you're new to the party, here's a helpful tip for linking up- select "Auto Crop"  when selecting your thumbnail photo.  For some reason, trying to crop your own image results in the dreaded "white question mark box," and we definitely want to see your awesome work!  :)

  1. What a fantastic overall positive from what could have been a huge frustration and headache; I'm glad you got in a family visit, albeit a short and quick one!

  2. So sorry about the link. I was having a hard time downloading the picture. Don't know how to fix it.

  3. Welcome home, Kelly! Yes, I feel the same way after traveling. It's hard to get back in the groove, unpacking and reorienting to home after being out of a suitcase and on the road. Wonderful that you enjoyed an impromptu family reunion, though! Thanks for the feature!

  4. Glad you enjoyed your teaching get-away with it's unexpected, happy turn of events. You couldn't have planned that, could you?! Hope you're back into a routine now, and digging into the latest project that you love.
