Happy NTT!

Welcome to Needle and Thread Thursday, friends.  I wish I could say that my life has calmed down, but it just isn't the case.  Instead, we had a major health scare with my grandmother and took a very quick trip down to Louisiana to see both grandparents again this past weekend.  She is okay, but still in the hospital and has a long road of recovery ahead of her.

We're also in the home stretch of preparing to move my son to college for the first time, which happens in just over a week, so I'm spinning all the plates the best I can.  I did some sketching to try to figure out what I'm going to do with the fabric pull I shared a couple of weeks ago, but everything I've come up with is too complicated for my brain to handle.  I need something mindless, and I just haven't landed on the right project yet.

I love seeing all of your gorgeous quilty things week after week though.  My spark of creativity feels tiny these days, and seeing your beautiful creations keeps it from being entirely snuffed out.  Take a look at this striking quilt from Yvonne at Quilting Jetgirl-

This beauty is from Gretchen's Little Corner-

And this lovely top is from Maggie at Making a Lather-

Okay friends!  Party on!

1You can link finished projects or WIP's , but just keep it about quilting and sewing!
2. Link to your specific post (not to your home page!) to make it easier for others.
3. Please remember to spread the word and post my button or a text link within your
    post.
4. Spread the comment love far and wide!
5. Following me is not a requirement to link, but is so very appreciated!

*If you're new to the party, here's a helpful tip for linking up- select "Auto Crop"  when selecting your thumbnail photo.  For some reason, trying to crop your own image results in the dreaded "white question mark box," and we definitely want to see your awesome work!  :)

  1. Oh dear, I'm so glad that your grandmother is okay but that sounds like quite the scare. I hope the visit was reassuring and good for everyone. Take care and enjoy the last days with your son before he's at college!
