After seeing my Pink Champagne quilt, my aunt loved it so much that she decided she needed a quilt with the same colors for a friend's daughter who is expecting. The fabrics in this one are almost identical, but I opted for a different pattern this time around.
The 6" finished blocks in this one went together pretty quickly, and I think the look is very elegant in these colors. I'm planning to get this one finished up and shipped to her in plenty of time for the baby shower at the beginning of March.
Perfect fabrics for a little girl's quilt! My four-year-old daughter (way back when she thought she was a princess) would have loved this!
ReplyDeleteit is a pretty quilt I bet they love it
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I had to take a second look if it was your post on IG because of the light, quiet colors. LOL!

Looks like Missouri Star Quilt Company's Lattice Quilt pattern. They have a tutorial on how to make it. I love the colors in this one!!
DeleteI just looked and I think Missouri Star's tutorial uses different measurements, and the two halves of each square are different, but yes! It looks like the same basic principle.

Very pretty. What pattern did you use?
ReplyDeleteDon't tell anybody, but I think this one is even prettier than the original!
ReplyDeleteSweet! The soft colors are just so lovely and warm feeling.
ReplyDeleteSoft and pretty - Excellent piecing!!!! And this type of block is at a difficult level!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I do like this one a bit more than the first. That diagonal piece does indeed give it a bit more pizazz or glitz.
