Hey there, y'all! Whew! It has been a whirlwind of a week around here! I just got home on Monday night from visiting the Quilters of South Carolina and it was such a wonderful trip. Columbia is a charming city, and the group that invited me to teach and speak was so friendly and hospitable. Read on to see plenty of photos! Since I got back, I sewed the blocks I shared last week into this Summer Blossom quilt top and I love it so much!
As promised, here are lots of photos from my two classes. I taught the Detour and Murrina quilts from my book,
Stash Statement, and presented a trunk show at their annual Spring Meeting.
You can see that we had a BLAST, and these ladies really took the technique and ran with it! Remember, if your guild is looking for a super fun workshop and program, use the Email Me button on my sidebar to send me an email and let's talk!
Since I didn't get home until Monday evening, my days this week are a little discombobulated (which is why this post is a little later than usual). So, let's get right to the highlights from last week's party, shall we?
I love this finish from
Nancy at Grace and Peace Quilting-
Nancy at
Joy for Grace shared these cute blocks that are perfect for spring!
And finally, this soft and sweet quilt from
Sew Preeti Quilts is just gorgeous!
Okay friends! Before we party, I have some important business to share. NTT will be taking a break until after Easter, and will return on 4/22. As I have mentioned previously, I'm scheduled to teach in San Diego in early April, but my husband and I have decided that since neither of us has ever traveled to California, we are taking this opportunity to have a little vacation beforehand. Then, after we return from California, I will be traveling to teach in Colorado Springs almost immediately. It's going to be so exciting! So, Happy Spring, and I'll catch you on the flip side!
1. You can link finished projects or WIP's , but just keep it about quilting and sewing!
2. Link to your specific post (not to your home page!) to make it easier for others.
3. Please remember to spread the word and post my button or a text link within your
post.
4. Spread the comment love far and wide!
5. Following me is not a requirement to link, but is so very appreciated!
*If you're new to the party, here's a helpful tip for linking up- select "Auto Crop" when selecting your thumbnail photo. For some reason, trying to crop your own image results in the dreaded "white question mark box," and we definitely want to see your awesome work! :)
Sumer Blossom is so cute and so pretty! Have a great vacation in California and a lovely time teaching and sharing.
