All Packing...No Sewing

Happy Needle and Thread Thursday, friends!  Well, we are supposed to close on our new home in two short weeks, which means that fast and furious packing is happening day and night.  Since I knew that sewing would be impossible, my studio was the first room I finished.  It makes me a little sad to see it in this state, but pretty soon it will be in my new house!

Before we get to last week's party highlights, I owe you four different giveaway winners!  Chris, comment number 13 is the winner of the gift certificate from Lady Belle Fabric, and Darlene, Lori, and Nancy, comments 13, 7, and 11 are the winners of the cute Halloween napkin sets from Fort Worth Fabric Studio.  Congrats, ladies!  I have emailed you so that you can get your prizes!  :)

Last week's party was amazing!  Take a look at this stunning X+ quilt by Anne at Springleaf Studios-

This textured twist finish is by Jayne at Twiggy and Opal-

This scrappy beauty is by Sew Preeti Quilts-

This festive jelly roll quilt is by Nancy at Grace and Peace Quilting-

Check out this pretty sawtooth star quilt by Linda at kokaquilts-

And finally, I am loving this Metro Rings quilt by Gretchen's Little Corner-

Okay friends, it's time to help a girl out.  It's time to link up your latest quilty projects.  Oh, and if you wouldn't mind, while you're sewing this week, send some good vibes my way for efficient packing, because it is a monumental job.  Let's party!

1You can link finished projects or WIP's , but just keep it about quilting and sewing!
2. Link to your specific post (not to your home page!) to make it easier for others.
3. Please remember to spread the word and post my button or a text link.
4. Spread the comment love far and wide!
5. Following me is not a requirement to link, but is so very appreciated!

*If you're new to the party, here's a helpful tip for linking up- select "Auto Crop"  when selecting your thumbnail photo.  For some reason, trying to crop your own image results in the dreaded "white question mark box," and we definitely want to see your awesome work!  :)

*NTT will be taking a two week break while I pack and move to our new home.  I'll see you on 11/20!

  1. Ugh packing and moving.... I've done it too many times. Hope a packing fairy comes and helps you. And, you get unpacked and back to sewing in record time.

  2. I admire whatever my friend, Anne (SpringleafStudios), makes. She's SO talented, and this is another example of her exceptional skill. Thanks for sharing these quilts. And best wishes in your move. Been there; done that, and I know it's a lot of work!

  3. Oh, I've apparently missed a post or two -- didn't know you were moving! Good luck with the packing, Kelly!

  4. Best wishes with moving. Thanks for featuring my festive jelly roll quilt!

  5. Best wishes for smooth, and uneventful move. One box at a time. :)

  6. Thanks for the feature Kelly. Wishing you all the best with the move. New spaces are both exciting and overwhelming. It will be fun to see your new sewing room when you get settled.

  7. Best of luck with your move! I'll look forward to seeing your new sewing studio!

  8. Good luck with the packing and the move. Not something I want to do again!!! Love the quilts...great eye-candy!

  9. Good luck with the move! Thanks for hosting the linkup. :-)

  10. Good luck with all the moving, packing up & unpacking! It's so exciting! You have an interesting line up of finshed quilts for us to look at this week. Thanks so much for featuring my 'little miss sawtooth star' quilt too.

  11. I hope all went smoothly with your move, Kelly, and that the most important box was clearly labeled so it could be the first one opened in the new house... The box with your SEWING MACHINE, that is! :-)

Thanks so much for your comment and for visiting! I read and appreciate every single comment, and I reply to each one as soon as I can. If you don't hear back from me, you might be a no-reply blogger. :)
