Thanks for the binding tutorial. It seems easier than many others I've seen. I keep messing them up. Gonna try yours next. Will try to rem to let you know how it turns out.
Great bunch of tutes! I'm hosting the Crazy Quilt Along 2014 and I'd really like to use your tute for Improv Piecing for my group. I'd of course link back to your blog within the post. Want to join us?
Kelly, I'm looking through your tutorials...which would you recommend for a quick weekend sew? Also, I received seven fat quarters (See the here: http://myplvl.blogspot.com/2014/01/january-happy-mail.html) of Scrumptious by Bonnie&Camillee for Moda and was wondering what you color background fabric you would use with them?? Thanks for you input! :)V
I love your tutorials. They are clearly written and easy to accomplish, no matter my skill level. I'm with you. I hate to hand stitch. No more feeling guilty for me, when the machine will do the job. After all, isn't that what it is for?
PS: I really like those coasters. They would be great gifts for any season. Maybe tie them up with a "ribbon" of fabric from the project. I'm thinking, even for my fireman son-in-law.
OK,I just read your post on your Horn Sewing Cabinet Re-Do, and #1, Love the Cabinet, #2 Love your Re-do, and your Post on how you went about re-doing it. I really appreciate your contribution and ideas. Also, love the details that you give in all of your tutorials. I am rather new to your Blog and am loving it!
I'm sorry. I don't have a published pattern for that quilt. The quilt is made with half square triangles, using my scraps. My book, Stash Statement DOES show you how to sew your scraps together, along with lots of patterns to help you use them! You can click on the picture of my book on the top left sidebar to check it out!
Thanks so much for your comment and for visiting! I read and appreciate every single comment, and I reply to each one as soon as I can. If you don't hear back from me, you might be a no-reply blogger. :)
