Improv Houses Class and NTT

Happy Needle and Thread Thursday, friends!  Have you ever loved making a quilt so much that you were a little sad when it was all finished?  Well, that's me with my Little Houses quilt.  I loved every single part of this quilt, from the first stroke of inspiration to the last stitch in the binding.  So, instead of sewing, this week I have been focused on turning my Improv House method into a class offering, beginning in 2022.  As I was putting together the tips for last week's post, it dawned on me that it would be such a fun full-day workshop.  I just didn't want to leave it behind yet, and since I'm offering it as a class, I won't have to!

During the class, I'll share lots of techniques for scale, tackling odd angles, how to best divide the house into sections, tips for sewing narrow trim pieces, and lots more.  And best of all, I promise you'll have FUN!  Though you'll only work on a single house of your choice during the class, you'll leave the class with the skills and confidence to make a quilt showing several different homes like mine!

So, have your programming chairperson send me an email.  I would love to get something on the calendar in for your guild!  I still have a some availability in 2022, but I am even booking 2023 now.  In-person, of course!  :)

Last week's party featured some pretty amazing work!  This stunner by Yvonne at Quilting Jetgirl is just gorgeous.

I'm loving this quilt by Sandra at mmm quilts (and the cute photobomber, too!)

This piece of scrappy awesomeness is by Linda at kokaquilts-

And finally, this happy finish is by Anne-Marie at Stories From the Sewing Room-

Wow, friends.  Y'all are amazing!  It's time to show me what you've got going on this week.  Party on!

1You can link finished projects or WIP's , but just keep it about quilting and sewing!
2. Link to your specific post (not to your home page!) to make it easier for others.
3. Please remember to spread the word and post my button or a text link within your
    post.
4. Spread the comment love far and wide!
5. Following me is not a requirement to link, but is so very appreciated!

*If you're new to the party, here's a helpful tip for linking up- select "Auto Crop"  when selecting your thumbnail photo.  For some reason, trying to crop your own image results in the dreaded "white question mark box," and we definitely want to see your awesome work!  :)
