I'm so proud of the way the wind turned out (this is just one little section of the background). I'm sad that I can't show you what this wind is "blowing," but I promise it will be worth the wait. Until I can share some not-so-secret sewing, we'll have to ogle the party highlights extra hard- and there are a ton of ogle-worthy projects! Check out this fun quilt by Margo at MY Quilts and Crafts-
Shannon at The Flemings Nine shared this pretty quilt-
Take a look at this beauty by Nancy at Grace and Peace Quilting. I LOVE the photo of this one!
This soft and sweet quilt is by Gretchen's Little Corner-
And quiltingbydawn linked up this great quilt-
Okay, ya'll! Let's party!
1. You can link finished projects or WIP's , but just keep it about quilting and sewing!
2. Link to your specific post (not to your home page!) to make it easier for others.
3. Please remember to spread the word and post my button or a text link within your
post.
4. Spread the comment love far and wide!
5. Following me is not a requirement to link, but is so very appreciated!
*If you're new to the party, here's a helpful tip for linking up- select "Auto Crop" when selecting your thumbnail photo. For some reason, trying to crop your own image results in the dreaded "white question mark box," and we definitely want to see your awesome work! :)
Very cool quilting, Kelly, and thanks for sharing some amazing projects!!
ReplyDeleteYour wind looks awesome. Doesn't look like it's new to you at all! You're quite the professional.
ReplyDeleteI second Shannon's comment: Your windy FMQ is top-notch! I've been getting braver about trying my hand at FMQ (just a basic stipple right now), and this inspires me to sew outside my comfort zone!
ReplyDeleteKelly! I love your Wind free motion quilting design. You did a wonderful job!
ReplyDeleteCan I ask is that a pattern that you purchased or was it totally off the cuff? I am particularly fond of water themes and designs in all my quilting and this looks like a must have and if I can purchase it I want it!
Thanks! Lisa
I love your wind quilting! One more idea I'll place in the memory bank for future use. Thanks for the linky opportunity!
ReplyDeleteBlessings...

Lovely quilt design. It’s one of my favorite designs that I used to quilt the ocean part of my state of Florida quilt. Happy that tried something new to you. Good job!
ReplyDeleteLove the wind quilting design! Can't wait to see what the wind is blowing!
ReplyDeleteThe quilting is great. The suspense is too much LOL
ReplyDeleteLove your new quilting design! Can't wait to see all the sky and wind blowing ;)
