Sewing the Rainbow and NTT

Happy May, and happy Needle and Thread Thursday!  As the last month in the school year, this month is always a whirlwind.  Add to that the blog hop for my new book, and planning for Quilt Market in Portland in a couple of weeks, and it's just downright crazy!  Rainbow scrap sewing to the rescue!

When gearing up for Monday's blog hop post with the Precarious quilt, I was reminded how much I love rainbow quilts.  I actually sewed that quilt for the book almost two years ago, so it's been awhile, and it definitely gave me the itch to sew the rainbow again.  I know they're not everyone's thing, but it seems I never tire of a full spectrum of color.  A quick handful of scraps from each of my color-sorted jars, and suddenly, my next rainbow quilt is in the works.  A perfect, low-stress remedy for the crazy of May.   I can't wait to show more progress on this quilt, but for now, let's get to the highlights from last week's party!

This Perspective quilt from Izzy at Dizzy Quilts is just fantastic!

Something Rosemade shared her finished Dot Dot Dash quilt, and it's so fun!

Look at this cute table topper by Chrisknitssews.  I love blues and greens together.

and this Spools quilt by Janine at The Sweetest Dreams is such a sweet finish.

I can't wait to see the eye candy linked up this week.  Let's party, y'all!

1. You can link finished projects or WIP's , but just keep it about quilting and sewing!
2. Link to your specific post (not to your home page!) to make it easier for others.
3. Please remember to spread the word and post my button or a text link.
4. Spread the comment love far and wide!
5. Following me is not a requirement to link, but is so very appreciated!

*If you're new to the party, here's a helpful tip for linking up- select "Auto Crop"  when selecting your thumbnail photo.  For some reason, trying to crop your own image results in the dreaded "white question mark box," and we definitely want to see your awesome work!  :)
