I really loved pulling out all of my scraps in shades of dark blue for this one, and I pieced the background using the improv methods shown in my book. I can't believe that the release is approaching in just a couple of weeks. Have you preordered your copy yet? Well, head on over to my Etsy shop and reserve yours ASAP. Remember, it comes with the free Take Flight bonus digital pattern!
I can't wait to reveal the full quilt to you, but for now, a peek will have to do! Last week's party was filled with amazing eye-candy. I love the modern, clean lines of this quilt by Leanne at Devoted Quilter. And guess what? This is a free pattern on her site!
These two Kaffe Fassett quilts by Something Rosemade are so whimsical and pretty. Hop over to her blog to see individual shots of each quilt!
This curvy improv quilt by The Lilac Cat is super fun, and she gives details about her process, just in case you want to give it a try.
Finally, this graphic beauty is by Jayne at Twiggy and Opal. Love it!
Without further ado, let's link up!
1. You can link finished projects or WIP's , but just keep it about quilting and sewing!
2. Link to your specific post (not to your home page!) to make it easier for others.
3. Please remember to spread the word and post my button or a text link.
4. Spread the comment love far and wide!
5. Following me is not a requirement to link, but is so very appreciated!
*If you're new to the party, here's a helpful tip for linking up- select "Auto Crop" when selecting your thumbnail photo. For some reason, trying to crop your own image results in the dreaded "white question mark box," and we definitely want to see your awesome work! :)
