An Eventful Weekend and NTT

Happy NTT!
Hey there, my friends! Welcome to Needle and Thread Thursday! This month has been all about travel and doctor's appointments. It seems that all of my annual appointments fall in the month of October, and that makes life hectic. Add in a trip to Louisiana last weekend to visit my family, and then another this coming weekend for an alumni event, and life has been moving pretty fast.
Oh, and how could I forget our latest puppy drama. Tucker has injured his knee, and we're concerned that he may have partially torn his ACL. Even if it were completely ruptured, we would have to wait until he is fully grown for surgery, but right now he is doing okay with anti-inflammatory meds. We don't think it's completely torn because he is bearing weight on it, and doesn't even limp when on the meds. But, that is making it harder to keep him from injuring it further. Do you know how hard it is to discourage a six month old puppy from getting the zoomies? I tell you, it's a revolving door of excitement (both good and bad) around here.
Anyway, I'm excited to show you some of the fantastic things linked up at our last party, which was a couple of weeks ago. This quilt from Rebecca Grace Quilting is an absolute stunner! I have always loved this pattern, and her quilting is just amazing!

Needle and Thread Thursday
Hey there and happy October, friends! I've been doing lots and lots of designing for the past couple of weeks, in fact, I sort of went down a rabbit hole and have lots of new designs to sew once I get back into my sewing room. Alas, that hasn't happened just yet. So instead, let's take a look at some of my favorite projects linked up at our last party.
I am in love with this scrappy pineapple top from Time 4 Stitchin'. The scraps just sing against the black background-

Still Not Sewing, and NTT
Happy Needle and Thread Thursday, my friends! Someone, and I'm not naming names, is still keeping me from my sewing machine. He is almost 40 pounds and not quite five months old (this pic is from a couple of weeks ago), and his shenanigans are still keeping me on my toes. Lately, he loves patrolling every toilet in the house (several times a day), just to see if someone may have forgotten to put the lid down, in which case he will help himself to a refreshing drink, stealing socks from my laundry pile and running from me when I try to retrieve them, and trying to lick the ice in the freezer every single time the door is opened. Oh, and last week, he discovered that toilet paper has an end that can be pulled...so that's been fun. It's a good thing he's so cute, and he's really sweet and snuggly when he's not wreaking havoc on my day, lol!
Even though I haven't been sewing, I have found that I can sneak in some design time on my computer. It's just a few minutes here and there, but it's been awhile since I just played around with design, and it's been fun to do something creative.
Without further ado, let's check out some of my favorites from last week's party. Sandra at mmmquilts shared this one. Y'all know I can't resist a scrappy quilt!

NTT Time!
Hey there, my friends! Welcome to another Needle and Thread Thursday! I'm still puppy-wrangling over here, so no sewing, BUT I did get to present a virtual trunk show to the Twilight Quilter's Guild in Ontario, Canada.
Isn't technology grand? Traveling from Tennessee to Canada would have been expensive and difficult, but with the magic of Zoom, I was able to present my newest trunk show, Show Your Back Side (quilt back ideas from my book, Perfectly Pieced Quilt Backs) on Monday night, and it was so much fun! Of course, you don't have to be in another country for me to present to your guild. Whether your guild prefers to invite teachers in person, or virtually, I'd love to visit you! I'm still have some availability for 2026, so send me an email and we'll chat.
As always, last weeks party was nothing short of amazing. There were so many wonderful things linked up, like this oh-so-gorgeous quilt from Linda at Kokaquilts. All of those prints are so cheerful!

NTT and a Big Giveaway!
Hey there, my friends! Welcome to Needle and Thread Thursday. Although I still haven't been able to do any sewing this week, I was doing a little organizing in my sewing room, and I'm excited to offer a pretty big giveaway today! I'm sure you remember that last April, I taught my Starfire quilt at a Stitchin' Heaven Sewcation in San Diego, CA.
Okay, friends! Before we party, let's check out the highlights from last week. Nancy at Grace and Peace Quilting linked up this wonderful quilt, made from children's art printed on fabric! What a great keepsake!
This sweet little strawberry quilt was shared by Rebecca Grace Quilting-
