Are you fussy cutting at all or just let the pieces come together as is? I'm just wondering if floral and paisley prints are okay to piece together if cut much smaller than this and you can see the break in the pattern. I usually make smaller quilts and I tend to do a lot of really intricate fmq, which does make the quilt stiff. Now I'm getting ready to make a quilt for our bed and I'm going to have a hard time making myself quilt with my lines much farther apart. I don't want to be sleeping under a stiff quilt!Leanne Parsonshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07944797294783593234noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-983525468027485560.post-9121543271753890082016-02-12T10:24:15.403-06:002016-02-12T10:24:15.403-06:00Beautiful finish! Especially with corners that are smaller, like these, I don't draw lines, and I don't even use painter's tape. I just eyeball it. That does take practice (and I did use tape on my table until I could do without), BUT once they're sewn and pressed open, there is no trimming, so I actually like them better than HST's. It didn't take too long before I got to the point that I could sew them without a worrying, but I'm SO glad I did. They really add a lot of interesting pattern possibilities to quilt designs.

:) KellyKelly @ My Quilt Infatuationhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13383511246261347442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-983525468027485560.post-50286609671361853492016-02-11T08:19:52.554-06:002016-02-11T08:19:52.554-06:00Beautiful quilt!Beautiful quilt!Connie Kresin Campbellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02522467890442085228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-983525468027485560.post-41092630435798671632016-02-10T20:58:08.786-06:002016-02-10T20:58:08.786-06:00I love your new quilt too!!!
