Then the fabrics are interchanged. Great way to use up larger scraps or one-eighth fabric cuts. It's a winner! So many secondary and tertiar...Great quilt, Kelly! So many secondary and tertiary designs possible depending on fabric selection including, as others have said, a focus fabric somewhere in the design. If turned 90-degrees it reminds me of decorative label holders on antique oak file cabinets. This quilt just calls for a dive into the stash for options! It would also be a great one to use for exploring free motion quilting ideas to highlight various parts of the design. I'll look forward to seeing the completed quilt.
